The way it works is that the two outside "defenders" drop into the back when we are on defense and work their way into the midfield when we are in possession. In the midfield there are two holding central midfielders and one attacking midfielder. When we are in possession this attacking midfielder will push into the attack, making a 3-4-3 formation. This SF hopes will help to erase all the problems that our defense had last year. The main thing is that this formation is not meant to be played with wingers so why are we going after people like Overmars? This is what i don't understand.
