Sigh...the way our team is now, it is too painful to bear. We have an incompetent owner, a Serie B coach, and players who have no desire to play well so long as Cairo keeps throwing money on them. We're within the top 10 spenders in Serie A this season set we sit in 18th place having conceded 29 goals, almost two goals per match and nine  in our last two games.

Corini, Abbruscato, and Diana are injured while Barone and Pratali will sit this one out through suspension.

Meanwhile Napoli sits in third place, and even though they will be missing three important players (Hamsik, Lavezzi, and Cannavaro), they will surely still be too much for our team to handle, given the state its in.

Our lineup is projected to be:

Amoruso - Bianchi

Rubin - Zanetti - Dzemaili - Abate

Pisano - Natali - Di Loreto - Colombo

Sereni

Bench: Calderoni, Säumel, Franceschini, Ogbonna, Rosina, Ventola, Stellone

Sad, sad. I don't know what Rosina's deal is anymore. Some say he's having fitness problems, I think him not playing is demonstrative of the problems the club is going through right now. Novellino will not solve anything and unless he is fired by January, we will inevitably get relegated. The fact that a club can fall so far hurts me greatly, yet I feel there is still a ways to go before we hit bottom.

Still, Forza Toro come sempre.

Yikes, very sorry for him. He was already in doubt for the game, I dunno how this will affect him. Still, best wishes to him.

Perhaps - certainly the last three games (Coppa and two league games) show it. Sereni has been making mistakes left and right while Calderoni had a very solid game against Fiorentina in the Coppa. However, it looks like Sereni will still be starting between the sticks tomorrow.

Lineup still looks the same as when I posted, though it is possible Säumel could start ahead of Zanetti.

EDIT: My bad, now Colombo's injured too and Ogbonna will starting at right back.

Yeah, just what we needed before the holidays, and now we are just outside the relegation zone. Genoa away will be tough when we come back though.
