Late match thread. Anyway, we're playing like ass. More possession and doing nothing with it. Sassuolo are up 1-0.

Alex Sandro tonight: Mis controlling, misplace passing, poor decisions. Really poor performance

Un f*cking believable. Sassuolo pulled it off. Honestly they persevered, shut Juve down throughout the game, and seized the critical opportunity in literally the last 30 seconds of injury time. Good finish.

Shit show from us. On to the next game.

This is a real slap on the face. And this one is on Allegri. A different approach was needed for tricky Sassuolo.

I saw most of the first half and the last 10 minutes. I feel like Chiellini is the key player for you. He just do all those crucial blocks and defensive dives to save you time and again. meanwhile De Ligt looked like a work of Michelangelo, frozen on the spot at Sassuolos first goal.

Unusual as of late or the last year or so but this was indeed a rare poor performance by De Ligt.

Chielli is indeed the crucial player for Allegri's "tactical plan" (with Chiellini in defense anyone can be a coach and use the same tactical approach). De Ligt and Bonucci do not make a good pair.

This is the problem, they can't play together. And it's obvious that Bonucci at 34 should be the one to make way but with the senatori you never know.

If the team is that dependent on Chiellini, I am thinking either the chemistry of the players is not well established, the tactics are not right or your midfield is subpar. Looking at your midfield lineup from yesterday, Locatelli and McKennie, I'd include that as a reason...
