Milan's now traditional good run of results of the winter is still going!

This is not an easy game on paper. Verona are a pretty good team in attack, so expect another end-to-end, fun-to-watch game.

They are in good form, very close to us on the table, and above all just signed the wizard of wizards, the king of modern calcio, Fabio Borini.

We come from a dramatic win in Coppa during the week and a lucky ugly one at Brescia last weekend. The team's mentality seems infinitely better, but the football is really still quite poor, although in a very different way. We are now much more entertaining and create chances, but we concede way too many clear opportunities per game too, and basically rely on Donnarumma saving us five times per game and Romagnoli doing all the defending himself, since neither the fullbacks nor any CB partner we put next to him help in that regard. The double CM 4-4-2 has made us much more interesting in attack, but basically we cannot defend at all.

We'll take a win any way it comes, especially before the derby, of course.

There have been developments in the transfer market, but neither Piatek, Suso, nor Rodriguez were featuring regularly anyway, and likely Saelemaekers and whoever else joins won't be ready yet.

Rebic should really start this one instead of Leao, who looked better off the bench than as a starter, IMO.

Gazzetta's predicted lineup (which is almost always wrong but seems to bring good luck!):

Let see how the mids perform without Ismael.
Kessie lack brain.
Hope Krunic can perform and prove his worth. A great chance for him to oust Kessie from the starting 11.

Borini hattrick
Zlatan x2
90 min, Verona GK sent off, all subs used. Borini puts on the gloves and saves Zlatan's PK

Cagliari-Parma drew, Roma losing 0-3 at the moment. Chance to go 6th and only 5 points off Roma..Too bad with the absentees. Now that Paqueta is staying, hopefully Pioli can make use of him again

No Zlatan, no Kjaer because of influenza, and Krunic is also out for some other reason.

That's a paper thin and poor-looking squad for this game, we'd do well to get a win.

Is Biglia still injured or whatever? Maybe Hakan can play central midfield..

I would play

Donna
Cala Musachio Roma Theo
Samu Kessie Hakan Paqueta
Rebic Leao

Maybe Bona instead of Hakan or Paqueta or maybe use him as a sub if things go real bad.

The predicted lineup seems to be that one, just Bona instead of Paquetá.

With all the absentees, Leao to play upfront alone.
Play five in mids.

They scored in their first chance and it looks almost impossible to win this ffs amateurs

Quick counter attack. It’s been a while

We need a better player to take away Bonaventura place. He is slow and yet can’t create. Ismael darting run forward is sorely missed in the middle of the park.

Right back

Lucky to be 1 1.they had few good chances in the 2nd half while we have been poor.

Bona, Hakan and Cala the worst players out there
