A new season is going to restart.
One of the two most expensive players of the world should be still with us and the other one might join our league in the next few weeks after being gloriously kicked out of the CL with his corrent club. Ibrahimovic should also stay at Milan if Raiola manages to get the raise in the wages a promising 38 years old player deserves. More well-past-30-yo stars have joined or will join or chose to stay in what looks more and more like the new NASL.

Yes, overall agree with your characterization. But I would add that unfortunately, CR7, Messi and even Ibra at 38-40 still have more quality than a lot of today's youngsters.

The 20 clubs and their coaches:

Atalanta - Gasperini (confirmed, unless he leaves but it's unlikely he will)
Benevento - F.Inzaghi (confirmed, unless he leaves)
Bologna - Mihajlovic (confirmed, but the relation between Sinisa and Saputo is not so strong as it used to be)
Cagliari - Di Francesco (new, after the shocking start of the past season with Sampdoria Di Francesco restarts with enthusiam and 4-3-3)
Crotone - Stroppa (confirmed)
Fiorentina - Iachini (confirmed, thanks to a convincing end of the season)
Genoa - Italiano? (new, Nicola has not been confirmed, Italiano could still reach serie A with Spezia, the team he is the coach of now)
Inter - Conte (confirmed)
Juventus - Pirlo (new, you know everything about it lol)
Lazio - S.Inzaghi (confirmed)
MIlan - Pioli (confirmed)
Napoli - Gattuso (confirmed)
Parma - D'Aversa (confirmed)
Roma - Fonseca might be replaced by a new coach (Pochettino?)
Sampdoria - Ranieri (confirmed, unless he leaves)
Sassuolo - De Zerbi (confirmed, unless he leaves)
Torino - Giampaolo (new, after the failure at Milan he restarts in Turin with his 4-3-1-2)
Udinese - Gotti (confirmed)
Verona - Juric (confirmed, unless he leaves)
one out of Frosinone and Spezia

CR7 is indeed the best player of serie A but Juventus has failed to go past Ajax and Lyon in the Champions League, the main target of Juventus, nevertheless. Ibra is probably the second best player of serie A and Milan has improved badly with him, but on the international stage they would likely be a flop, in spite of their DNA (lol).
Yes, the problem is exactly that the best under30 players of the world are not in serie A. Or at least most of them are not in serie A.

What's the chance that Ronaldo leaves Serie A? I don't mind either way. It would be good for the competition in the league.

According to different sources Mendes has offered CR7 to Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG but without a success.

Anyway looks like there aren't too many plans that will reverse the trend that Napoli and Roma will under perform again next season. Too bad. Unless Napoli's new striker is transformative for them, which could happen, given they played almost the full year without a striker.

No Magyar managers in Serie A, huh?

In the meanwhile Spezia won the first leg of the serie B playoff final at Frosinone, 1-0. Beware of the Ciocari, they also lost the first leg at Frosinone in the semifinal vs Pordenone then won the second leg.

The unpredictable happened: David Silva chose Real Sociedad over Lazio.
From a Milan perspective this is a bit of a relief. Lazio's chances of finishing top 4 next season would be greater with a player of Silva's quality and experience. This is huge opportunity gone amiss for them.

Silva chose a team from his own country. Tare should not act like a cry baby. Shit happens and deal with it. It'll pay off later...

The unpredictable happened: David Silva chose Real Sociedad over Lazio.

Lazio furious at David Silva ghosting

Lazio are reportedly furious at David Silva’s behaviour, as it’s claimed he didn’t even tell them he was signing for Real Sociedad instead.

The deal was seemingly done last week with a medical booked in Rome, a three-year contract worth €4m per season including bonuses, with perks such as a personal driver and use of a private jet.

However, reports over the last few days stated he was not answering calls from the Biancocelesti directors and had been given an ultimatum of today to make a decision.

According to Sky Sport Italia, David Silva didn’t even tell Lazio that he had signed for Real Sociedad, so they only found out once the Liga club released their statement this evening.

This perceived total lack of respect infuriated Lazio
, who thought he was just taking time to give Manchester City a proper goodbye after 10 years in England.

Instead, the 34-year-old has signed a shorter, less lucrative contract with Real Sociedad, snubbing a Lazio side who are in the Champions League.

He wanted a return home to Spain after such a long time away from his family, but Lazio sources insist he had given the all-clear only to then vanish.

There were some rumours of other clubs showing an interest, but the Real Sociedad development was a genuine shock to even the most seasoned transfer gossip specialists.

Same thing that happend with Bielsa, something about Lotito and Tare's voices&faces enduces people to go back on their agreements  Tare was pissy, said he respect Silva the player, but not the man.

Frosinone won the second leg 1-0 but it was not enough because Spezia were higher in the regular season standings, so Spezia are promoted to serie A (for the first time).
I didn't watch the first leg, I have watched the second leg instead. An abysmal game which soon gave me one certainty: the promoted one will have to change a lot if they want to stay in serie A for more than a season.

In the meanwhile a few serie A players got the coronavirus: Boga, Petagna, Mirante, two players of Torino and four of Cagliari.

As soon as the teams were allowed to mingle in the community I guess? Were they held in a bubble during the end of the season?

One of the infected players of Cagliari is Kiril Despodov. He caught the virus in Austria I guess, as he did not travel to Sardinia after his loan with Sturm Graz had ended but directly returned to Sofia.

With Spezia having promoted there will be a whole lot of two Bulgarians playing in Serie A next year (Despodov in Cagliari and Galabinov in Spezia), which hasn't happened before afaik.
