I just heard this on Fox Sports World Report, it's about Schalke 04, of the German Bundesliga, banning far right extremists from their stadium. Any fans or groups caught with signs etc. displaying far right sentiments will be banned from all future Schalke games. The German city is a known hotbed of many of these groups.

I applaud the effort, I think it's a great step by a large European football club to try to stamp out racism from their ground.

What do you make of it? Should more clubs do the same?

The best way to get rid of these people in football is for the clubs to take a hard line like Schalke appear to be doing.

Schalke have definitely done the right thing. These people need to understand that this kind of thing is unacceptable and won't be tolerated. If clubs ban these people, they will be sending a very clear message to potential offenders. It would be great if more clubs did this. Well done Schalke!
