Grappler ..... The only reason AEK are only 1 point of the lead is because off the favourable referee calls they have had in their favour this season.
AEK looked like a 2nd rate team today at Karaiskaki, had only 1 shot on goal and Olympiakos could and should have put 6 past them. Had they not won that controversial penalty they did not even look like they were going to score.
"Lesser" teams have come to Karaiksaki this season and impressed more than what AEK did.
Santos is not the best coach, he nearly relegated Panathinaikos and he has never beaten Olympiakos ina league match in his time in Greece. He was a shamblesat Sporting last seasonand in his 1st term at AEK they only finsished 2nd because of Psomiadis and the shonky bribes ( Tubakovic:"Dont think I dont know how you finsished second")
Dusko is the best coach in Greeceat the moment, he has the titles to prove it and everywhere he has worked his teams have played attractive football.
I can name you 2 Greek coaches who are better than Santos....Mantzourakis and Hatzaras.

Yes thats right the referee favours us hah. Exept for the penalty which Nickopolidis gifted us, you tend to forget that the ref called around 10 offsides which were not agaisnt us. That is why we didint have more than "1 shot on goal". Get your facts straight gavroi, the refs arent helping your opponents. Complex..

Bit of both really. Santos has done well with the squad that he has at his disposal. We've exceeded expectations this season so I'm happy. Best coach in Greece?? Probably a toss up b/w Him and kermit. My bet would be Parashos. Did extremely well at Kavala in 1996-97 as well as Halkidona. Just that he seems to be found wanting when a challenge comes his way in the shape of Aris and Iraklis.

Dusko is the best
Given where you're from you would say that wouldn't you. Shame waht's happened to Velez by the way. :(

Maybe so, but face it even if those offsides weren't called against us would we have scored??

the best coach in Greece is Rehaggel...

Santos just understands AEK and her players really well... and AEK have been incredibly lucky this year; hes also been a big failure at PAO and Portugal-- Duskos attitude is terrible and hes adopted a Greek coaching personality (thats a bad thing), not to mention hes pretty much a mercenary now -- Malezani was ok at Parma, really the beneficiary of a great team; still too early to really make a judgement on him so the jury is still out -- Anastasiadis cant handle player personalities or build a team -- Markarian can babysit players but wont make them better -- Hatzaras, Matzourakis, etc are good for mid table Greek teams but cant handle the Euro scene

WOW....the worlds best ever post.... Eric Tseregounis you are the BEST. Awesome analysis, ive been staring at your reply for no less than 4 hours , thats how much Ive been captivated by your footballing wisoom.
Just one thing though you forgot to mention, Dusko's personality is so "terrible" that he has managed to NEVER lose to panathiaikos whilst coaching Olympiakos. The fact that he has also won 7 Greek titlesand numerous cups was also ommitted by you.
