Sampdoria's coach Gigi Cagni has confirmed his interest in Bordeaux's Lilian Laslandes, a player that has been linked to Fulham and their French coach Jean Tigana.
Cagni is desperate to improve his striking power and Laslandes is one of the better forwards available on the market.

The two clubs will meet next week to discuss a possible transfer of Laslandes although it is unlikely Laslandes would be interested in playing Serie B football at this stage in his career.

Cagni has already secured the services of Dario Marcolin from Lazio and Mirko Conte from Vicenza, whilst goalkeeper Matteo Sereni has been linked with Napoli, who are looking for a custodian and a move to Serie A is likely to appeal to Sereni.

Serie B is better then Div.1 in England.

Laslandes is strong and good in the air, but he is not that good with the ball in his feets.

But he will go good with Esposito.
