It's a done deal 100%.

technical matters regarding the registration of his upgraded deal with OM need to be sorted (which were requested by AFC) in order to legally trigger his release clause.
A poster from Arsenal-mania, who's apparently reliable, said this.

Yeah, I really get the impression that he's coming, there's just difficulties because the season is technically still going in France.

I dunno, I'm usually not an optimist about this stuff, never really believed Ribery was coming cause he's a mercenary, but I have a strangely good feeling about this.

Now just go on Arsene, break my heart...
so when is the little herbert going to sign then? :hopeful:
Where is the f*cking lightweight? ;)

Some French fans views on Nasri coming to England:

"I watch english league matches regularly and if i were Nasri, once my contract is in my pocket, I would take out insurance as quickly as possible, because he is going to get decapitated in that league. They are marathon runners, KILLERS and with his build they are going to take pleasure in cutting him up into bits."

"I give him 10 days max in the premiership before he loses a knee..."

Shouldn't laugh too much considering what happened to Dudu but it is quite amusing :)
Did'nt he grow up in a rough area? Sure he can handle himself a bit
yeah they have a point, Hleb too also got some bad tackles, but hopefully Nasri has a bit more bravery than Reyes.
Hleb has no worries on that front now. Gives as good as he gets. Really hope that we can keep him and he has a change of mind.
well he didn't get a chance to give it back to Carew, and who was the West Ham player had him, was it Noble, Reyes would have gone into hiding for six months after them challenges.
Yeah Noble. Dreadful challenge. There was another Sevilla player that was in the news recently Jesús Navas suffers from "chronic homesickness" and gets severe anxiety attacks. Has walked out of training camps with the national team because of it. What's wrong with them tarts down there?
I'm sure this thing about our league being overly physical is exaggerated. There must be a fair few butchers in France too.

there's one in his team, I should imagine he has had to dodge a few reckless tackles in training.
He plays with Cana so I'm sure he've felt the elbow at one point in his career. Not to mention other ruthless tackles :D
 when is this going to be confirmed!!

Loren, too much tanning ...

Milan in UEFA is still more of an honor than winning 450,000 trophies with Arsenal.

Ask Flamini ...
'honor' and an italian team dont belong in the same sentence.

:howler:

Reminds me of a joke my xenophobic neighbour told me the other day:

Q: How can you tell if an Italian is lying?
A: Because his lips are moving.
come on Samir you little c*nt, I've just ordered you this. :hopeful:

Setanta Sports:

Star Set To Sign Next Week

Reports in the French press claim that Samir Nasri will be Arsenal’s first summer signing at the start of next week.

Arsene Wenger has always been a huge fan of a player who made his league debut at the age of 17 and Nasri’s agent Jean-Pierre Bernes declared that both he and his client are studying the offer made by The Gunners.

The Premier League club are not the only one interested in one of the most promising French players of his generation, but Marseille daily La Provence have stated that 'The New Zidane' will officially agree to move to Emirates Stadium ‘at the start of next week’.

The 20-year-old’s arrival in North London will be a relief for Gunners fans, who are waiting for new players to strengthen their young squad.

Lyon's flying winger Hatem Ben Arfa is tipped to replace Nasri at L’OM, and Morocco international defender Armine Erbati is strongly linked to the Stade Velodrome outfit as well.

And what is the French league? Since when did it become a sissy league? The french league is a very physical and tough ass league(the many african players contribute to that, who play quite rough), alot of reckless challengers can be found there.

For example, if it was such a sissy league (since when is it a soft la liga?) and big transistion for Nasri, would he have this guy as his teammate?

He plays that viciously and hardly ever gets red cards. Says a thing about the league, no? EPL is quite physical (but it ALLWAYS gets exaggerated to heck), but that french fan doesnt even know his own countries league it seems. They tackle like hell there too and are filled with some bonafide butchers.
Attitude is far more important than physical strength. Narsi may be small but as long as he gets back up again and jsut uses it as a spur to be better. Like Ronaldo does.
true, also movement and football brain can overcome anything, Cesc was a little weed when he first came in the team, didn't stop him running the show from day one.
Getting Nasri next week would be great, Makoun looks likely to follow in addition to the Coquelin and Chantome
