He's here apparently.

Going to sign at lunchtime, take photos for arsenal.com, a quick tour of the stadium then he has to leave and join up with the French NT squad.

What a signing seriously, our style of football suits him.

A couple of the guys on the official website forum with their "sources" reckon it'll be Nasri today and Ben Arfa after the French Cup Final at the weekend. What coups that would be, the two best young talents in French Football not named Karim. :D

At Man City he'd get 200k a week quite easily. I don't think he actually wants to go there though, more like instruct his agent to tell Arsenal the kind of money he could be getting elsewhere. He'll stay and if he does leave I want Wenger out ASAP.

Again, sell Nasri, buy Hazard, selling Nasri might pay for Hazard by itself.
lol, why on Earth would we do that?

So then Hazard has one season to settle, one season where he's hot and cold, and then in his third season he starts to be consistent. Don't you guys see this cycle? We can't develop players, wait for them to mature and then when they're nearly the finished article like Nasri -- sell them on! That's why we're trophyless.

Nasri is going absolutely nowhere and if he does Wenger has to get sacked. It's as simple as that. This guy (Wenger) is a clown of the highest order. I still respect him for what he has achieved but it's clear to me that he is more concerned with proving people wrong than winning titles for Arsenal as soon as possible. He'd rather win a title 3 years from now HIS way, rather than win it next season by signing two world-class players THIS summer.

Anyways -- on the subject of Nasri, he wants 100k a week and we're offering 90k. He is better than Iniesta was at 23. I would argue that contrary to belief, if we lost Nasri we're one of the WORST run clubs in the league in terms of sporting direction.

On the right he is completely and utterly lost. On the left he's been quite good, I like him better there. His best position though is Iniesta's position, I have no idea why Wenger doesn't let Nasri and Cesc play the Iniesta and Xavi roles.

Anyways, Nasri is not going to Man Utd. Absolutely no chance. IF he does, Wenger might as well resign as he would have completely disgraced himself. One week after saying that certainly we would not sell him to United, we do? That would seriously undermine his position. United will throw good money at us, but we don't need it.

He will sign an extension, and if he doesn't he'll be flogged abroad.

Wenger is a clown, the sooner we get rid of this idiot the better.

Not only do we miss out on top players due to his refusal to spend, but we can't even keep our OWN top players as a) we do not give them the money they want and b) they don't see the investment in top players being made.

It's so freaking ridiculous, Wenger has turned us into an experimental kindergarden with a laughable wages policy.

Chelsea just signed Villas-Boas and will no doubt bring in several world-class players. Wenger's response is a couple of players for 10m each, fvcking lolz.

Spot on Tunis.

I don't know why Mo is always blaming Wenger for everything. The amount of money we spend, the wages we pay players and the contracts we offer them are mainly down to the board, not Wenger.
Dude... Wenger has an unhealthy amount of control at the club, which is one of the main problems. The guy literally controls pretty much everything, his final word is executed by the board. He is directly responsible for this mess.

FlyHigh- you're deluded as always.

Sorry, but the buck stops with the manager. He is the one who is in total control at Arsenal and not only has he failed on the trophies front, he is now failing on the composition of the squad. Nasri no doubt asked for assurances over our summer targets and was most likely told we would sign a bunch of nobodies. Why the hell should he stay?

We are stagnating as a club and AW has to pay the price.

Just give him the 100k, it's not like he is asking to completely break the wage structure. How is an extra 10k going to hurt Arsenal? Even if the likes of RvP and Theo revolt and they're given an extra 10k, so what?

PLEASE just give him what he wants, we can't afford to lose Nasri, he is simply world-class in waiting.

"He is happy here. There is no departure of Nasri at the moment," Wenger told the French media outlet TF1. "Maybe one day, but it's far, far, far from being done."

----------------------------------

Please, please get Nasri to stay. I am of the opinion that we should keep him even if we risk losing him for nothing next summer. Are the fans going to see that £25m invested in new players? Yeah ****ing right. So why shouldn't we hope he stays? It's really important for us because I still feel Ramsey needs this season to get fully up to speed after his injury. He would be superb cover for Nasri.

Of course people will say he left for the money but I honestly think the lack of ambition the club showed was also a major factor. We can't expect to get players to sign extensions when they are being offered twice as much elsewhere -- it just doesn't work that way. The board have really let the club and the fans down with some of their policies. Of course it hurts to see Samir in Man City colors, we always knew Cesc would go home at some point but Nasri's departure was easily preventable with policies that accurately reflect Arsenal's status as one of the elite. Why should the board be allowed to get away with such gross mis-management? Someone has to be held accountable for this, it's unacceptable.
