We can compare the performance of 2 players who have spent considerable amount of time at 2 clubs & decide which club the player has performed better at.

For example, Zidane at Juve or Real?

RVN at ManUtd. or Real?

I actually think that van Nistelrooy has improved at Real. At United all he mainly did was score goals where as now you can often see him dropping deep and playing with the midfield. The variation in his link up play with others has improved as well. I've seen him create quite a few goals for the team this season and that is something I rarely saw him do at United.

RVN improved at Real... his passing game and ability to assist has improved... him and Raul are truely a great combination

I also think the same , he looks a more complete player now.

What about Zidane at Juve & Real?

Also, people should come up with new comparisons.

I think Zidane was more important to Juve than Real Madrid since they went berzerk there with their galactico policy...

Because he was not asked to drop deep and play in midfield. No point otherwise who would Beckham and Giggs aim for with their crosses and passes?

I also think he has lost a yard of pace since he hit 30.

More than two choices for that one, plus interesting when you take into account his tactical role on the field for the various clubs he played for and the way in which his style of play changed in the various systems he was used in throughout his career so far.

Lazio, easily. He was crap with Man U, Chelsea and Inter but quite good with Parma.

RVN has improved mentally as well at rm. He doesn't look that frustrated anymore after missing a shot on goal for instance.
