The man has done a phenomenal job when you think about it, he is breaking the stereotypes and he is someone other young English managers should look at if they want a English role model.

He shows its not all about culture, I'd say he is the best English manager in the game right now.

I hope no young managers look up to him, as the game will be ruined if its full of teams playing long ball and fouling constantly.

Besides, Pearce is the best English manager, followed by Dowie

Yes, you always hear that Cockney accent in Northern Ireland. He is English, he just played for northern ireland. If you think he is Northern Irish, you're the fool

Yes are we are talking about Brasil or bloody Bolton Wandarers here? Im not really talking about tactics but the way his professional approach to the game and the team he has built at Bolton.

**** the tactics, Its not exactly 10 behind the ball, and Im not saying the guy is a genius but I certainly don't see any other English managers that have impressed me more.

the FA cup performance vs arsenal (when diouf got sent off) was an absolute disgrace to football, kick and spoil. he moans about anything (zenden touching the penner twice by accidentally falling over) and uses the same old bollocks about spending no money (yeah cos jardel was on £2 quid a week and fernando hierro didn't have a massive signing on fee)

The only reason Bolton are so high up the table though is because the entire premiership outside the top 4 have been mediocre. They went 10 games without a win, and yet still managed to cling to sixth. Any other season with a run like that, and they'd be in a relegation fight, just like City proved by doing the same last season.

You can't tell me that Pearce, who's been in charge of a Premiership club for not even half a season is a better manager than Alan Curbishley who has been doing it for almost a decade.

Fat Sam is a legend! His team is a good bet to beat the top sides in the land and that is a testament to his astuteness in the coaching arena where he has spent £1.5 million as his most expensive purchase!

Wenger, Ferguson, Benitez and Mourinho all shake when they have to face Fat Sam and his army of professional long ball specialists. :D

I would say the best english manager is Alan Curbishley. He has done wonders at Charlton given the money ha has had to spend

Guys let me repeat the guy is no genius but tell me a better English manager, and Im talking about all round management skills for a PremierLeague club.

Curbs is not better Im sorry his teams never worry the top clubs, too soft and Bolton seem a more progessive club whilst Charlton just stay where they are for the past few seasons, he is has reached his limits methinks.
