Marcelo "El Matador "Salas (Chile) was given a 2 game suspencion by FIFA after being ejected for retaliating after a hard tackle during the Paraguay/Chile match last month. Salas will miss tomorrows match against Bolivia in La Paz and next wednesday's match against Venezuela in San Cristobal.
Erwin "Platini" Sánchez (Bolivia) was given a 6 game suspension by FIFA after being ejected for harrasing the ref on April 26th in the match between Bolivia and Colombia.
He eventually hit the ref after he threatened to suspend the game. He will miss tomorrow's game against Chile and the entire first half of the qualifying stage.
