He was below par last night, utter pish, all his passes were going
astray, it was like playing with 10 men with him on the pitch.

Rooney below par :confused:...Thats what happens when you watch a game drunk.

Well he was invisible in the 2nd half, so was most of the offense.

maintaining my contrary ways...I'll have to disagree and say Rooney was hard done by yesterday. I thought he positioned himself well, created danger a couple of times. Wasn't his fault he wasn't getting the service he should have. Both Nani and Ronaldo selfishly took shots on occasions when Rooney was in the clear. Still, his frustration seemed to get the better of him as the game went on...and I guess that's why he was subbed. If he could keep control of his emotions, he'd be a much better player.

And with that you've lost all credibility as a football pundit.

Oh well.... RIP Tinto 2001 - 2008.

Nani came on for Rooney, its impossible that Rooney was in a good
position and Nani was too selfish, that scenario defies the laws of
physics Sir.

Him and The Drog had a poor game, although I'm kidding with the
thread, I did keep an eye on his play to see his sharpness and match
fitness, he was making a lot of wayward passes.

It was so bad I ALMOST wished for Saha to come on. :embarass:

But I forgive him tho :proud:

To be honest, he was one of our best players. Very understated, held the ball up well, counter attacking, tracked back etc.

Mate after that first 30 mins he was invisible.

And I didnt understand why he got the loudest cheer when he
picked up the cup.

The United section almost exploded.

Luckily I didn't have any to start with.

Sorry about that. In the C.R. case I was thinking of that run down the left where he chose to shoot from a very unlikely angle while Rooney stood in front, dead centre, begging for a pass. Obviously, I confused Nani for someone else...probably Evra. ;)

Tevez can go to.

I'm sure guys like Ashton, Ramsey, Valencia etc will help us win Europe again next season :rollani:

what a great play the one that led to the pass to ronaldo, then the cross for tevez' diving header. goal of the year had it gone in.
