Let's all hope that Manuel's injury is not serious and our Grande Captain will be able to make it to the World Cup:

From Onefootball: Portugal will discover on Monday whether playmaker Manuel Rui Costa has any chance of being fit for the World Cup finals.

The AC Milan star suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury during the weekend draw with Chievo as his miserable run of luck continued.

Rui Costa limped off an hour into the match in Verona having apparently strained his left thigh - the same muscle he damaged against Piacenza two weeks ago.

Tests are scheduled for Monday, but Portugal will fear their key midfielder was rushed back into action too soon by Milan.

A lengthier spell on the sidelines now would be hard to bear with the World Cup less than two months away, particularly as Rui Costa has missed so much of the season already.

As long as Italy doesen't have to face Portugal, I couldn't care less.

As long as Portugal doesn't play Bahrain, I couldn't care less...

Not that I would change my daily schedule to watch the WC anyway!

Yo Krist! Is it true that Zidane knew that the Italians would injure him for the WC if he stayed in Serie A this season and so fled to Spain!

I heard that France refused to play against Italy to make sure that the Italian's plans to injure France's keyplayers will never happen!

Zidane did mention in an interview with Western Union football show that Serie A football is ' more taxing on the body than Primera Liga'.
