A couple more possibilities.

It is difficult but.... Depor will probably be in the UEFA Fair play draw (only Valladolid could pass them). As you know it's a draw between like 12 teams from the leagues with less cards (and other fair play stuff), and I think that 3 end up going to uefa cup. Rayo Vallecano went this way some years ago.

Also, Racing didn't send the intertoto request, so by beating them this weekened we might help Depor get closer to them in the standings... and if in the end Depor gets the 6th place we'd go to intertoto finishing above Espanyol, since neither Racing or Mallorca sent the request. It could be nice, we finish in intertoto and as Aduriz commented during the week we get the special joy of letting these **** of Racing without european football next season.

But for all this to happen we have to play better than the last two games...

It's really complicated, Intertoto would be great, as long as we don't send a B-squad just like we did versus Cluj some seasons ago... if we take it seriously, then who knows, would love to see an official match of Athletic in Europe.

First let's beat Racing and hope Osasuna doesn't face troubles with Murcia.

Go check the Cup thread. Personally I don't hate Racing that much but I also can't say that I like them.

Why Etxebe is missing? He seems to work better with Llorente than Aduriz does.

And about the Uefa fair play award,I think it goes to 3 nations after the leagues are finished,so I don't know if Spain will get a wild-card.
Also,I recall we applied for the Intertoto the last day we could,so other teams may also do the same.

on the official site it says "protesting", the minute was 94th. l really don't know what he might have done to get the red card, he killed the referee or something...
