As I write this, Bologna are tied for tenth with Siena. Let's hope that after Wednesday they're not alone in eleventh place. :fero:

Roma are at Brescia and Parma at Perugia. Juventus host Chievo and Inter host Siena in the posticipo. (Siena are popping up everywhere!)

We have yet another midweek game coming up after Bologna (Coppa game against Lazio). Thank heavens for a large squad... and Berlusconi's money. ;)

We must stay with our feet on earth, a 1-0 victory would be super. from now on every team will want to perform well against us

acmilan.com is reporting that Inzaghi and Abbiati are off the injury list, although I doubt if we'll see them against Bologna. Maybe against Lazio...

Brocchi and Costacurta won't be available for this game due to minor knocks during the Siena game, while Ambrosini and Kaladze are still recovering.

Nesta will be back (what a relief!), but I don't know who will partner him. I'm sure Maldini can't play three games a week. That leaves Simic or Laursen.

Yes, Maldini looked yesterday as if he needs a short rest. Hope it is Simic rather than Laursen.

Hope also that kaka keeps on scoring. Jdt should start as he is really in good form.

Bol is dangerous ... especially at home. No question. For one- they can always put up a brave 0-0 performance.

Lets hope Sheva starts scoring and Nesta-Simi or Nesta-Billi may be, works well.

I wonder if we play:

Rino-Pirlo-Rui-Amrbo-Kaka
Sheva

that was my prediction for this game, 0-0.

bologna this season have been ultra-defensive its nearly sickening. its not just against big teams but also against others like brescia or empoli. i only hope we can hit them with a 1-0 win but i can see them holding well for a 0-0 :rollani:

damn mazzone :groan:

with romas loss today it gives us a great chance to open a 5 point lead. that can be a good thing and a bad thing though. the closer the competition is the harder you play. hopefully a 5 point lead wont make us complacent but it is human nature.

Call-ups according to acmilan.com:

GOALKEEPERS: Abbiati, Dida, Fiori

DEFENDERS: Cafu, Laursen, Maldini, Nesta, Pancaro, Simic

MIDFIELDERS: Abate, Gattuso, Kakà, Pirlo, Redondo, Rui Costa, Seedorf, Serginho

STRIKERS: Borriello, Shevchenko, Tomasson

It's good to see Abbiati back; I wonder if he'll play against Lazio Thursday.

Milan 2 - 0 Bologna
Shevchenko, Tomasson.

Roma lost yesterday.
Juve 1 - 0 Chievo.

We're what? Five points ahead of everyone else?

Clinical performance by the team.
First half we dominated completely, second half turned out scary at times.
Seedorf was impressive again.
Dida was very good, a couple of brilliant saves in that second half.

Redondo came in when Bologna was dominating us, in the late 70's and things improved.
It's great to have Redondo playing often.

Tare from Bologna played very good, looks like a good striker.
