Ronaldo admmitted the possibility of a loan. He said it wouldn't be a bad idea because he could come back in better shape. He could go to Flamengo in the Brazilian league, which is much lighter and has less tension then the Italian league, and then come back fully fit.

But as soon as this came out Inter's medical staff chief, Julio Velasco, denied everything and said there was no possibility of Ronaldo going on loan. This is because they do not want to put tension in Ronaldo.
Later an Inter spokesman added: "A soft return, with gradual tension is exactly what we want. Loan denote impatience, while we want Ronaldo takes all the time he needs. And never we'll start to think the hypothesis to loan him"

A few different sites claimed that this was possible
TEamtalkworld.com for one later is was denied by many,It would not make any sense for a loan to take place:As long as R9 takes his time in training his return with inter in Feb/March or even April would be significant:

what the inter guy said sounds good: don't loan ronaldo. let him work his way back slowly with inter. he can play all the inter scrimmage games he wants, and he can work his way back to competition fitness by playing a few minutes ocassionally against the weaker teams in serie a.

if he is loaned to flamengo, he will be a target for defenders! it will be no easier than serie a.

From Italian-soccer.com another message that the loan is possible and they mention MLS..
Dont you think that Ronaldo could easily get hurt again whether he goes on loan or not..
If he wants to build himself back up again but is afraid of returning to SerieA in full force then why not enter games after March for just a short period..But even then he could get hurt again just as well..This whole loan thing is riduculous:

R9 has indeed lost all faith in INTER's dopctors that is why he is saying this stuff.

i can't be angry with him.

What R9 needs to understand that playing in training until the beginning of the Copa America will benefit him more than playing an serious competitive match.
