OK, the guy has tonnes of tricks to show. But in this new Barca team he is not the most important player. Come to think of it, even the Barca of the second half of last season was mostly due to Davids.

The most important players in Barca are (in order):
1. E'too
2. Puyol
3. Valdes
4. Deco
5. Ronaldinho
6. Xavi

If he can cut back on the party and street tricks and work more on assists and scoring, then maybe it would make sense to claim he is the best player since Maradona.

maybe ronaldinho is not as consistent as last year,but he still can seal the outcome of a game at any moment,that's why he agreat player

You have seen Puyol and Xavi play, right? The best defender in La Liga and the best midfielder in Spain are "not all that great".

I don't think so, having seen about half of the Sevilla games and all the FCB games and Renato is not better than Xavi, let alone 10 times better. Xavi needs better finishing (he gets a handful of scoring opportunities a game and hardly ever makes them good) and a little more speed, but no one has a better ratio of good passes per game in Spain than him. And to take the ball away from him is almost impossible.

Firstly, he should play in his team to prove that he's better.

About Ronaldinho, last year he was the only one that carried the team, this year Eto'o, Deco, Xavi and others are helping him much more. Still Ronaldinho is the best and I'm sure that he's happy with the new situation. He doesn't want to be the best player, he wants to win titles and he can't do it all by himself. He had a great offer by Chelsea and he wanted to stay because he believed in the project.

I have seen Ronaldinho miss a lot of chances this season.It is true that if he were to be more serious we would be scoring 6's and 7's in matches against the likes of Osasuna.

But to say he's not the most important is a bit far-fetched . He has enough assists for this season.I think the major problem is that too much is expected if him and so far it is hard to shine alone cuz we have a very good team on the whole.
