The ratings for the UEFA Cup Final were about 20%. Which means 20% of Romanians were watching the Galatasaray - Arsenal final. This is a lot, and this rating is very close to the game Portugal and Hungary received for the Euro2000 qualifiers.

I know Romania really wanted Hagi, Popescu and most importantly Galatasaray to win this game. I know I was

Yeah, goverbments have been fine. I know that there are many turkish bussinessman in Romania with businesses. I personally know one of them. very rich guy

anyways, i think sports is the best thing to bring poeple of two countries together. That night, both countries were praying for the success of Galata.

Carlito, in my region, Constanta, 15-20 % of the population is Turkish.
Till now, we understand each other very well. I even know some Turkish words like:

balik - fish
arkadas - freind
at - horse
muz and domuz - pig and banana
bir - one
eki - two
uch (don't know if the spelling is good) - three
dort - four
bes - five
dondurma - ice cream
and so on.

Anyone else knows some ?
