Roma are believed to be coveting stylish West Ham youngster Rio Ferdinand, even though he did not make Kevin Keegan's final 22 for Euro 2000. :) :(

Ferdinand's qualities may shine in continental football, but Roma are also considering making a move for Spanish star Fernando Hierro and Cagliari's Jonathan Zebina, amongst others. :)

In any case, Hammers boss Harry Redknapp has insisted that the Peckham-born defender will remain at Upton Park. :(

No news about this here in England, Rio Ferdinand plays for West Ham United, and not Tottenham, maybe you are getting confused with Sol Campbell.

I think Rio Ferdinand is a much better player than Sol, I hope Sol does not move to Man Utd (I think he is well overated).

England need to have there young players play in the best league in the world for the sake of English Football, I hope he does move to Roma, I think he would fit in.

The reason Keegan did not pick him is better he is blind and stupid.

Plus I hope Hide finds a new club, becuase he is not gonna get a game at Roma, with all those new arrivals, and if he does play defensive midfield well then, Capello is as stupid as Keegan.
