Actually Villalba already made his debute in the last game for River. He is maybe 16 years old, Lamela yet to make the first team.

Can't wait for the U-17 NT, should be a treat!

The picture you have taken comes from a superclassico in the youth division (when they were in the ninth division, today they are going through the sixth division) that happened more than two years ago... They were all ~14y old.

From the left to the right:

Erik "El Coco" Lamela, the famous kid that almost went to Barcelona in 2004. He's said to be great. He plays as a playmaler sometimes as a second striker.

Daniel "El Keko" Villalba, the one between the two others, is said to be the most promising talent coming from la banda roja. Small (1.58m at the moment, let's hope he will grow up) but fast, skillful and intelligent, he combines both Ortega and Saviola's qualities. Definitely a pibe to look for in the next years.

Emmanuel Carlos Morelli (not Moriel). I think he was the titular striker of that category at that time (in 2006, when this pic was taken) but not anymore apparently, since now the titular striker is now a kid named Luis Vila. Either way there's some talent here.

Thank you very much for such valuable information.

Do you have any videos for Villalba and Lamela?

Here's an itw with Villalba:

Nothing really important, but you can see how he's looking like lol...

Here's the famous goal Erik Lamela scored last year when he played against Gimnasia de La Plata:

That was last November, their last game of the season (they were campeon for the third consecutive time).

Here's the full video with both Lamela's goals (a great free-kick and the Rabona goal).

Can't lie and say that I have not seen the videos before but let us hope we will see a lot from the kids next month in Chile.

Thank you anyway and thank you Bene for introducing msi2 who seems to be an encyclopedia in youth divisions and players.
