i really don't know why rivaldo doesn't just shut his mouth. for a guy who was the best player in the world LAST YEAR but is not doing too much right now, he sure talks a lot of nonsense.
Falcao, would you like it if Zanetti left Italy for lets say Real Madrid and when he was ready to return ot Italy said "I want to play only in Inter".What is wrong with that?

If you cant respect your players when they play for the national team then Fiel sux! it doesnt matter if its Cesar Sambaio or Alex or Roque Junior or Junior or Djalminha or Marcos or whoever. When they wear yellow they play for Brazil, not Palmeiras.

i agree with you AMO its rivaldos wish where he wants to play its his life not yous Ze.
your corinthians supporters attacked him and expect him to do charity for you all.
This is quite silly really :(. A player's club preferences should have nothing to do with the national team. Its not only Rivaldo who's attached to Palmeiras, there are many other players in the national team like Roberto Carlos, Djalminha, Alex, Flavio Conciecao, just to name a few. Since I am an Inter supporter if I didnt respect Alex, Roque Junior, or Dida just because they are with rivals of my favorite club it would be ridiculous. Rivaldo didnt say anything bad about the team, he just said he doesnt want to play there again. And it's not like he doesnt have a reason, the guy has a pretty damn good reason not to want to play there...because the supporters tried to beat him up. I dont think any player wants to go to a club where he is threatned to be beaten up. I agree with Amoroso, if Fiel cant respect players in the national team then Fiel sux. Fiel should not just be faithful to its club, but also to the national team.

you are soooooooooooooooo right ...............
Its not about the national team..its about the Fiel supporters.
FOr many of you who don't know how brazil is (ojk inter fan you live in brazil), but COrinthians supporters are different, Corinthians is #1 and that's it...and the guy is insulting our supporters , so why should we support him?
we were the first club to give this guy an opportunity to take him away from poverty, and then he turns are back on us going to Palmeiras, after saying he supported Corinthians since a little kid...and now he says this crap...I think he should [email protected] off really, and stay in Barcelona for the rest of his life, and not come baclk to brazil no more!
i am NOT a corinthians fan! i don't care where the hell rivaldo plays or if he is faithful to barca, palmeiras or corinthians or manchester united. my point is this: every day i read a new story about rivaldo opening his mouth and making trouble when he should be concentrating on playing football.

he was the best player in the world last year. but since then, he seems to be trying to be the best newsmaker in the world. this week alone, i read two stories about him arguing with barca management about his salary and how long he wants to stay with the team. this best player in the world award has gone to his head.

rivaldo should be concentrating on proving he is the best and helping to make brazil the best. why is he talking about playing for a club team in brazil?
Oh Ze give me a break, you say Corinthians is different and #1.Bull****.PAOK fans are almost the same like corinthians supporters.BUT we respect the national team.If the player sys something against us he'll get his chants during the league or another game, but when he plays for the national team everyone wishes he scores a hat trick. If Fiel cant understad this Fiel sux.Period.

Falcao, just because he speaks a lot and says a lot of bull**** doesnt mean he is always wrong.
Ze, I've been to many Corinthians games. I see the huge banner that says "Pelo Corinthians, Com muito amor...ate o fim" in almost every game of Corinthians. I also see the huge flag of Fiel that is unwrapped during the middle of the game and the beautiful fire works display put out when the team gets on the field with thousands of black and white papers falling on the field. Now THAT is being passionate about your team. Things like that are what make supporters of other clubs look at fiel and corinthians supporters in general and say to themselves "damn, these guys really love their club." It would be great if it stopped there. But unfortunately I also see Edilson being surrounded by Fiel supporters and threatned to be beaten up. As far as i'm concerned it doesnt matter what a player does or says, the worst treatment that a player can suffer is being booed on the field, having stuff chanted against them, etc. NOT being beaten up. Thats not being passionate about your club or make your fans any better. In fact it gives a bad image on Corinthians fans in general just because 40 something Fiel supporters felt a player wasnt trying his best in the club and decided to go harass him. My point is there are certain things that show your loyalty and dedication to your club, but chanting out against a player while he is playing in the national team and beating up players of your own club (or any other club for that reason) is certainly not among those. Organized support groups (such as fiel) are great to watch because they always have banners, sing songs, and in general make the atmosphere of the game better, but there are limits as to what they should do. I understand your frustration at Rivaldo, you feeling that if it werent for Corinthians he would still be poor. But he is way past that stage and now he is in a different situation so he doesnt think about that. The fact that he has become quite stuck up recently I think everybody here knows. Maybe I could even understand if you chanted stuff against him for not being thankful to corinthians or being as stuck up as he is now, BUT in a club game. Club grudges and national team stuff should be kept seperate. In conclusion, I hope that fiel (or anyother supporters) wont be chanting against Rivaldo (or any other player) in the national team for reasons that involve clubs. End of sermon :D

I'm not a soccer expert, and I don't know much about the local clubs of Brazil, but I agree that if u are a Brazilian or if u support Brazil national team, u should support all the players when they play for the national team. Maybe u don't cheer for them, but at least u shouldn't 'attack' them.

Club and national team should be separated!!!!!

I like the quote of Anelka, I entirely agree with Inter Fan, that's what I think and really want to say.

Let's all cheer for Brazil, hope that they will win tomorrow!!!!!:D
Inter fan,
ok...that is a very good post etc..etc.
But the guy asked for it...he wil receive the treatment.
Also is not only Corinthians supporters taht boo players...in Rio, every single player form Sao Paulo is booed in any game,.\
Ex: cafu, Roberto Carlos, and Rai.......now it was Aldair......it does not matter, they have to pay with heart. unfortunaltey something players do not do these days like before..excpet the odd onw or two.
But that rivaldo is a D2ck he is!.
Amoroso, neve PAOK or whatever they are caled will reach the level of FIEL....never you'll put 70000 fans on a away game!
Ze,you dont know PAOPK fans.Everything you think Fiel hgas,we have done it as well.

Brazil is a huge country with huge cities,Greeceis a small country with small cities and small stadium,so we bring 5 or 6.000 fans on away games, but be sure that if Greece was like Brazil we would bring 70.000!
Amoroso,
i
'm based on facts....after wards..tomorrow i'll tell some stories taht PAOK will never do. after all
A CORRENTE JAMAIS SERA QUEBRADA!!!:)
Ok,tell me the stories,I'm sure we have done it...
Amoroso,
have your PAok, put 70000 fans on away game 10 hours from your home town? and be BIGGER than the opposing team who is a very traditional team, and had our star playing for them? (Rivelino)
DO you guys participate of the team's political life? it might but i doubt as we do.
It really astonishing that a Greek team has more fanatical supporters than a Brazilian team...as in Greece football its not in the "roots" of the society (ok you may like it...but its like in brazil were its life).
After being huiliated 11 years by Pele..our crowd just grew....stayed 23 years without winning a title, our supporters were the biggest of the state of Sao Paulo, (bigger than the santos of pele, the palmeiras of ademir da guia, or the sao paulo of gerson).
Also, you even said early in the year, that only fanatical idiots would celebrate a goal when your team would be losing 4x0....and that's what we do!:) You said it by the way in the "tazz and argy lovers" thread!:) etc..etc.
Ze,when you describe Corinthians fans its like describing PAOK fans.A team that has not many successes due to the corruption of football STILL has supporters growing up.Its a tradtion, and philosophy and a way of life.We dont beat up players but once when we had a president we did not like for 5 months everyone was boycotting the home games. They cut only 15 tickets till he left. And we also did this with basketball this year, boycot the games and the president till the president left.Once we made a riot against the Greek FA because of the ocrruption and 50.000 people in a city of 1.000.000 were particiapting. As for our participating during the game we shout and sing till the final whistle, but when we are 4-0 down we dont celebrate,we just sout louder so our players find coyrage to come back.
Sigh.......classic Brazilero syndrome.....

"We are the best!!!!!!! You suck!!!!!!!! Why? You are not Brazilian!!!!!!!"

"Whatever you do we have done better. Why? We are Brazilian"

tell that to Jorge Campos and Chilavert.

Sigh......CUMMON ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!! :):):)

ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!!
but, tazz, the brazilians ARE the best. 4 world cup trophies are proof of that. the #1 ranking in the world the last 7 years are proof of that. the 1970 team is proof of that.

look, how many other teams consider themselves to be in a crisis when they lose their second qualifying game in 70 years?
i dont think gavioes should give rivaldo $hit when hes representing brasil... but corinthians fans have a passion thaat is superior to the passion of the fans of the mighty flamengo... i thought that it was gonna be the end of gavioes when corinthians almost went to the 2nd division some years ago, hell was breakin loose... but w/out gavioes corinthians would be a common team, but its the excitement and flair they bring to the team that makes corinthians games worthwhile. and also marcelinho who is one helluva a player.
i think who the player signs for is his decision, but if
rivaldo does sign for palmeiras there definitely will be some forces of evil involved... no offense to any palmeiras fans , but i straight-up hate palmeiras...
but still i think they should give him a break while hes
playin for brasil.
btw has corinthians found a new coach?
