I really don't think so.

Only if we buy Zidane Rivaldo might be permitted to leave. Otherwise he will stay.

Nunez said in an interview today that there is no way that Zidane, Rivaldo, and Pep can play in the same side. Maybe Zidane will come if Rivo leaves, although i don't really want to see him leave.

Latest development of the Rivaldo saga:
I just heard on TV (TG5 from SPAIN ) that RIVALDO has agreed terms with us (Milan), his salary will be almost 12 bilion lire per season as milan & barca agreed for 110 bilion lire, NUNEZ barca president has pushed th e deal before the elections in spanish club..

Even if the deal wwill be be delayed , GASPART who is almost certain to take as barca president was nunez assistant in last 22 years & he will ,for sure, do like nunez who says RIVALDO is creating problems
also nunez has adviced rivaldo to go to milan if he wants glory.
Does anyone has reliable news from the Catalan Giants?
Thanks in advance Barca socios for your feed-back.

FORZA RIVALDO ROSSONERO!

I havent heard anything like this in the news. Rivo has said he won't negotiate until July 28 when he is back in Barca after WC qualification match against Argentina. I believe that if he goes, Zidane will come. I will have to look for some information about this and see if there is any truth in these statements.

Read in Calciomercato that Milan are back in charge for Rivaldo.

Here's the link:http://www.sportal.it/football/news/article/0,5081,102365,00.htmlRivaldo al Milan: conto alla rovescia

Which basically means that Rivaldo at Milan could be just a matter of days if not hours! Some very close sources to the player say that Milan may have already obtained the player;s consent and may be on his way to also obtain the consent of the Catalan Giants.
Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani, will fly to Spain where after having sealed the deal with Redondo of Real, will go to Barcelona in order to launch the official offer chase of the brasilian playmaker. Milan have prior to that given the green lights to Barca for Gerard with whom Milan had already obtained the the consent for the following season and may also may be on their way of giving the green lights for the Catalan giants for the argentinean playmaker Riquelme. The Rossonero executive will meet with Joan Gaspart, the newly elected Barca president where they will both seal the deal about Rivaldo.
In fact, the two sides have been discussing all this for quite some time now. At first that possibility was in a way shattered by the sudden and unexpected transfer of Figo to bitter rivals Real. However, in the last hours the scenario has radically changed. And the big signing of Milan may well be Rivaldo.
Again, based on Spanish sources, it is highly possible that the transfer can be officially announced at the beginning of next week. In order to replace Figo and Rivaldo, Barca will direct their mercato efforts on Gerard (who has already been signed) and Riquelme (dopo Milan's green lights!) now are also looking very closing at Aimar and Saviola, two other great young Argentineans and at Petit and Overmars from Arsenal. In the last few days, the transfer season has really reserved us some spectacular signigs and its not about to finish yet...

So anyone close to Barca that can add anything on that?

Forza Rivaldo Rossonero!

Well, San Siro, this sounds a bit disappointing to me :( I don't know about you though. I hoped we could obtain Riquelme or Gallardo for this position. Why do we have to waste money on a player that will be done with football after 3-4 years, not giving him enough time to accomodate to the calcio. And Gallardo would have made a difference.

PS: From what I've read Gaspart is not willing to fullfil the selfish desires of stars like Rivaldo or Figo. That's why the second left and the first is unhappy. Of course there is still a chance that you'll keep your Brasilian, and we'd go for an argentinian :) .

Giani, to be totally honest i'm too disappointed that we left 2 wonderful youngsters for Barca for Rivaldo!Rivaldo may be great for 2 or 3 years at the highest level but Riquleme and Gerard are the future. But who really knows what Galliani and co reserve us.
We're not finshed to see spectacular moves day after day...
to be followed...

IN short, Milan will pay around 100 Billion Lira (50 MUS$) for Rivaldo who may be announced at the beginning of next week by Tuesday or Wednesday.

FORZA RIVALDO ROSSONERO!
THE WORLD WILL BE...ROSSONERO...AGAIN!
