He seems a very down-to-earth guy, he's only been playing football full-time for four years, before 2000 he worked as a carpenter.
I don't know much about his personal life, but he's always modest - I remember I lauged when I read an interview with him, when we were in Serie C2, and he said "My ambition is to play in Serie B!" Well, he's exceeded his expectations!
