United reserves have won the Reserves League thanks to some help from arch-rivals Leeds.:D:DBrian McClair has done an excellent job with the side and who says United's future is bleak.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------Manchester United are the new champions of the FA Premier Reserve League, thanks in part to their arch-rivals Leeds.

The Yorkshire club beat United's only remaining challengers Newcastle 1-0 on Monday night, to wrap up the title for the Reds with one match still to play. Ironically, Brian 'Choccy' McClair's side will play their last game against Leeds next Monday 6 May.

Choccy deserves great credit for claiming the championship in his first season on the coaching staff. The last time United's Reserves won their league was back in 1996/97, when Choccy himself made 12 appearances and scored one goal.

ManUtd.com would like to congratulate Choccy and all his players and support staff on their marvellous achievement.

On another noteJimmy Davis has been called up to the England U-20 squad for a tournament in Toulon. He joins his strike partner Danny Webber in the side.:)

Well thats good news, maybe a couple of the reserves should be put in the first team because some players seem to be taking their position for granted these days.
