Well, the state championships are currently taking up the headlines, but apart from the handful of clubs playing the Libertadores I imagine that everyone's priority for this season is the Brasileiro. And I'd like to discuss what our clubs need to improve for the national competition.

Botafogo for example needs a leftback, a couple of mids (one DM and one creative midfielder) and at least one forward, especially considering that Alex Alves is beginning to attract attention from still-unnamed foreign clubs.

What do YOUR teams need for the Brasileiro? And what reinforcements would you like to see arriving?

The most needed player in many teams is the striker.

For instance, even Corinthians and Palmeiras, two of the wealthiest clubs in Brazil, have no top striker in their roster.

Flamengo need more (and better) players for almost all positions if we don't want to fight against relegation again.

A centre back (Glauber just doesn't inspire confidence in anyone), a left side midfielder (so we don't have to see Diego Souza wearing the #10 ever again) and an striker.

Guess Candinho could at least try Fabiano in the midfield to see how it goes...
