AC Milan troubled midfielder Fernando Redondo seems to have fully recovered and is ready to join the team on July 1, Spanish Marca reported.
The former Argentinean international moved to San Siro 2 years ago, but immediately sustained a right knee injury and missed both seasons.
Last term Redondo pleased the club management by refusing his 4 million euros salary until he is back to action.
Milan vice-chairman Adriano Galliani is very excited about the 32-year-old player's return, whose contract expires on June 30, 2003.

He really didn't want to leave Real Madrid, but hoped that his time with Milan would be productive. This injury took much longer than first thought to heal and it was depressing for both him and the team. I really hope he can play the full 2002-03 season.

I wish him all th best. He's a very gifted player though I never cared for his attitude towards our NT.
