Poor Jamie Redknapp's England injury curse has hit again! He's ruled out along with Ray Parlour of Euro2000. Leaving Keegan with only four to face the dreaded cut.

Phillips is woried that he will be the one left out because the other 5 strikers have more experience!
I hope it's Cole left behind as he needs 4-5 chances to score a goal. Imagine Shearer, Owen or Fowler playing for Man U, they'd each get 50+ goals a season!

Keegan should definitely take Phillips instead of Cole. 30 goals in one season with an average team does say something, although Cole has performed well again this season for Man Utd, his performances were eractic however, and in his few games he has played for England, theyv'e been rather disappointing.

Sad that Ray Parlour is also injured and had to drop out of the provision squad, but he was widely tipped to be one of the drop-outs anyway.

Redknapp, he didn't play in WC 98 through injury right?, man, is this guy ever going to play at a major tournament. He's been tipped as a future England captian, so who knows.

Yep, and Redknapp got injured V Scotland in Euro96, he just seems to be jinxed with injury before or during the early stages of any major tournament.
