I was going to use the original Madrid-Sociedad thread but found out it was closed/locked.

Next Wedneday we are set to play out the remaining few minutes of our game with Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

I know the general feeling is that 7 minutes will not be enough time to break down Sociedad and get the winner we so desperately need, but you can never say never in football. How wonderful and confidence-boosting would it be if we somehow managed to win this game?

We will probably play a 1-0-9 formation, with all our attacking players upfront.

Heck, Morientes will probably start, too.

And get the winner...

It's stupid that these remaining minutes have to be played. It'll take longer to get there, then to play 7 mins.

will the starting 11 will be the same players that was on the pitch at the 87th minute ?

I've heard that it will be chosen from the 16/18 that were in the squad in the original game, also there was something about players that were subbed are not elligable.

If I'm not wrong, only the same players who were on the field at the time when the ref abondoned the match are allowed to play. I think that's fair.

they can do it. Just throw everything on attack. But people seem to forget that the goal can fall on the other side of the pitch. Now that would be a disaster.

uh it isnt very simple you know, but then If beckham can play some of his trademark long balls up front to ronnie and raul or owen that would help much..infact it could be the only winning way if sociedad close the back area..hmmm

It will be interesting.

Probably the only 7 minutes of Real Madrid football that Sky Sports will not be covering this season.

or Zizou should do some dribblings in the Box, he would be tackled, so a penalty. Figo is out, so he can't miss. hehe
