Real Madrid removed the grass in the Santiago Bernabeu today and has replaced it with dutch grass. It's the same grass that Ajax and PSV Eidenhoven use if anybody is familiar with it.
If it is dutch, then it is supposed to resist cold...
Here it's more or less cold only one or two weeks a year, but in 15 years I hardly remember such an uncomfortable weather.

what's very strange. I know for sure, that some stadiums in Holland import grass from England, for example Gelredom in Arnhem. Hopefully we won't slip lot on that pitch!
Perhaps when the grassroots get stronger the grass becomes more healthier. The grass has been lush green in the past [in the Bernabeu]. That is why posed the question.
