And thats good despite the poor game he had last, the other defenders are individually worse. I think it'll be a reversal of fortunes like last time. We were going through a bad run and we won vs Real, this time they're struggling a bit and will likely come out on top in the Bernabeu.

I always believe that when two big clubs meet in the CL; it's not about current form. I expect us to win this game, even with Pepe and RVN out and Juve having a couple key players back.

And yes, if Ruud is out that would be sweet, as he is probably the most difficult for Chiello and Legro to stop as he doesn't hold on to the ball too long as would a Raul or Higuain. Who would be RVN's direct replacement though?

Big questionmarks are who's gonna fill for Grygera and whether Nedved will start considering he hasn't had a rest in a while. Marchionni looks like he's won a place but will Camoranesi and/or Giovinco play?
Robben from the start might be a serious issue for you. He caused lots of trouble in the 1st game for the time he played.
If Ranieri hasn't looked to rest Nedved in less important games, he definitely is not gonna rest him now, especially as him form is a lot better than a few games ago. I doubt Camo will start as he didn't get any time against Roma.

No problem with Pepe being there, but it would have been quite an advantage to not face Ruud.
And Steph, Grygera's replacement isnt a question mark, its clearly Mellberg. Nothing of who is going to play is a question mark really, it will be Mahnigguh;Mellberg, Legro, Chiellini, Molinaro;Marchionni, Tiago, Momo, Pavel;Ale, Amauri. Writes itself basically.

is marchionni really better than salihamidicz? Juve could maybe use the extra hard work.
He is more skillfull and talented, an out right winger instead of a just a hard working runner like Sali (but generally despite being more skilled, their output is more or less similar).
But Marchionni is starting this much because even his backup competition in Sali is injured too. Not just Camo (who is back this very game I hope). But Ranieri would prolly choose Marchionni mostly still (except when he needs extra defensive player against a top team).

- Ruud van Nistelrooy is good to go and will likely start the game.
- Huge dilemna in midfield. Everybody minus De la Red are healthy. Schuster must pick 3 out of Van der Vaart, Sneijder, Guti.HAZ, Gago, and Diarra.
