All season there have been mini rumours all around the internet about Various deals that are going to be made and I have one plea .. let´s make this forum rumour free !!
I don´t know how many topics I have read about various lazio players that are gonna leave but here´s a list:
***** -> Barca.
Nesta -> Real, Juventus, Atl Madrid
, Inter.
Salas -> Juventus, Parma, Inter, United.
Almeyda -> Inter, Real, Barca.
Veron -> United, Inter, Real, Barca.
Boksic -> Marsielle, Fiorentina, Monaco.
Deki -> Parma, Inter, Fiorentina, Barca.
Simeone -> Parma, Atl Madrid.
Couto -> United.
And just now I read a lameass post by Pierre saying the Conceciao might be on his way because of bad feelings in the locker room ??? Conceciao is only the most humble player in Lazio and that´s why he got the silver ball.
I have also jumped on the rumour wagon a couple of times linking Crespo and Buffon to Lazio but I say it must stop !!!
Nobody cares about what we write in this forum but us !! so why do we the Lazio fans cause this friction and controversy among ourselves ???
Look at what Cragnotti did to the team last season !!! There where rumours flying everywhere last season and look at the many changes that took place in the first eleven for this season.
***** - Nesta - Mihajlovic - Pancaro and Luca in defense .. hmm reminds me of a defense that used to play last season .. infact it´s the same.
Conceciao - Almeyda ( Sensini ) - Veron - Nedved ... huge changes really guys .. the only change is Veron instead of Mancini and Sensini or Simeone when Almeyda was injured.
Salas - Simone / Boksic ... again the only player we sold was Vieri and he was replaced with Simone / Boksic .. no big changes there or am I wrong ???
My guess is for next season Salas will not be with us and in his place we´ll have probably ( even hector cuper said so ) C Lopez. I have a feeling that Inter will use Vieri in a trade for Almeyda or Deki.
Baronio will probably be back and if Cragnotti gets a good deal then he´ll try and get us a new goalie but it´s probable that Luca will guard our goal for one more season. And there will be a backup defender to help Pancaro and Nesta.
This is if no player break down during the rest of the season or in the European Championships.
Eriksson will be the coach for one more season and after that we will probably see an italian coach.
I know that rumours are fun but just the other day Cragnotti went public and said that Nesta is the only player not for sale. Cragnotti also took time to praise Simeone and extra praise to Veron.
Think about it - Eriksson asked for 3 players when he came to Lazio, Manco, Miha and Veron. These players are in Lazio to give us the thing that is needed to become a team of recognition all over the world. Veron is the best midfielder in the world and probably the best known player Lazio have at the moment along with Salas ( if you look at the international scenen we all love Nesta ), I should add Mihajlovic.
Someone suggested, I think it was Italian soccer.com that Veron will probably move because he didn´t like the way the club acted with the passport thing 1) doesn´t this sound like pure speculation ?? It was also suggested that Lazio would get rid of Veron to avoid the judical problems that have arisen because of the passport thing ??! If nr 1 was pure speculation then this is pure nonsense !! That´s like I kill somebody and then sell the gun to avoid trouble ??!! HALLO use some common sense.
I´m not gonna use the Lazio forum catch phrase and say that the media is against Lazio but why is there such turbulence with around our team ?? Think about it before you pay any attention to the idiocy that is written and that we panic about in this forum.
I feel for the Parma fans who have had all their top players linked to just about every club in europe there is - will Crespo play for AEK next season ??
I would like to end this post with a thought on internet web sites: It is my firm belif that most of you don´t read tabloid papers such as ( I´ll mention some international ) Hänt i veckan, The Sun, National Enquierer, Tutto
etc .. These papers will print anything that hasn´t been proven false - it goes both ways = it doesn´t have to be proven true either. Now there are sites on the internet that operate in the exact manner and I won´t give examples ( teamtalk
) but you have to know that the only way these sites can stay alive is because people visit the sites and the only way you are gonna get people to a web site is gossip or good journalism. Now there are some great sites on the internet ( soccernet is fairly rumour free and the same with soccerage etc ) but these sites are a rariety.
I hope that in this forum we´ll see in the future a bit more on the game and the players, tactics ( my fav ) and other teams. I also hope to see less of players for next season ( a topic that started 1 week after kickoff ).
I´m not trying to preach but I´ve been posting on this board for almost 2 seasons now and I see more and more of the in and out topics and less people trying to say something constructive.
Let´s make this forum the forum with the highest quality posts and rumour free for the fans and ourselves.
