Rachel Unitt was named yeaterday as the Nationwide International Player of the Year for the second time in her career (she also took the award in 2004).
At The FA Women's Football Awards held in London on Friday, the Everton left-back collected her award, which was voted for by visitors to TheFA.com. The web-site Rachel-unitt.net also played a part in her win by encouraging their members to vote on mass for Unitt
Unitt has been an ever-present for Hope Powell's team this season as England topped their World Cup Qualifying Group with two games left still to play.
In the nine games played since September, England have remained unbeaten and Unitt has also scored once in February's friendly match with Sweden.
