I can tell you Mundo is the highest goal scorer ever, and he was also 'pichichi' two times, with 27 goals. About the legends, it's subjective, but I'd say Kempes is the number one, followed by guys like Mundo, Quincoces, Gorostiza, and more recent players like Claudio López or Mendieta.

IMO the best player we've had is Romario, it's a pity he didn't last much. The oldest player, I suppose is Carboni (40), and the highest transfer fee received, Mendieta to Lazio.

:fero:

My mistake about Mundo, I though he had been the highest goal scorer in one season, but the great Kempes always wins.

Did you know that Hercules have a "peña" called "Penya Kalsruher 7-0" :D

I perfectly recall that day. I was in the first year of high school and I was in class. There was a guy who had the walkman on (in the English class... I am, you are, he is, she is...) and he started... "Karsruher 1-0"... 5 minutes later "Kalsruher 2-0"... and 5 minutes later "Kalsruher 3-0"... and once more "Kalsruher 4-0" :D When the class finished, we went to a bar that was out of the high school to watch the rest of the match on TV, skipping the class of "valencià" :pp... one beer... "5-0"... another beer "6-0"... the bar was a huge party and "7-0" :proud: Really, unforgettable! :D

Be patient, ciberche is in the process of building a database of all Valencia games. It's impressive. You'll then be able to answer most of your questions.

I think so too. Valencia paid around $32m for him if im not mistaken.
Yes, I looked for it and I found that Valencia paid 21 M € (20M $ at that time) for Aimar. The 2nd signing more expensive was De los Santos  for 15M €.

About the youngest player, I have no idea but I remember a player named Raúl who if I´m not mistaken played being 15. If I´m not wrong then he was loaned to Valladolid and then I lost him. It was the time of Raúl, Etxeberria or De La Peña more or less, that new fashion of very young players.

Am I right? someone remembers him or it´s just the 'resaca'?

The website is awesome.... far better than the official one. :howler: ;) I'm not meaning the official one bad. But your one is just better!

I only know Kempes among the legends. It would be nice if info about them is given! :) Does Carboni break the age record in FLP? Donato was 39.. (?)

i would not agree to the fact that you said romario is our best player if he did not play for more than a season and he only scored 17 goals so that really disqualifies him.yes he might be great but in valencia's colours he is not as great as kempes or mundo so please stop saying he is the greatest.i will stick to kempes as being great cos apart from the goals he scored for us ,he also showed the world is talent when he took tha albicelesti to win their first world cup in 1978.he was the player of the tournament scoring beautiful goals and showing good foot work.i will stick with him but he is only a just a few point ahead os mundo in my ranking .

I'll look for it later... probably a player of the 40s, when you won 3 Ligas.
