In Italy Friday the 17th, is the equivalent to Friday the 13th in America

Fear no one. If Murphy's Law is in motion then we can't help it. :D Whoever we draw I will be smiling ... you only have to see their reaction when they draw the DEVIL. :D

I should add: in a game that actually counts. :D
they count the Super Cup in their European trophy haul, presumably it takes them further up the list.

a bit like when Houllier claimed he won 5 trophies in a season and counted the Super Cup and Charity Shield. :D

What's that a new Aid Program ;)
It's called the Community Shield now and yes it aids the community.

It is the Super Cup of English football, basically an exhibition game so the old farts of football can have a good jolly up. :shades:

well Liverpool won it almost evry year in the eighties, so i don't think so no. :googly: :D

it's basically the same as the Super Cup, a meaningless comp that only geeks brag about. :pp

Which explains why Schwarz & Adams had to resort to shirt pulling to stop Zorro Boban from scoring the opening goal (For that matter, they failed :ass: ), and also why Dixon made a half-:ass: attempt at clearing a corner which led to Massaro scoring Milan's 2nd goal. I forgot, those geeks simply couldn't be bothered with this meaningless comp. :pp

Please.... Those very same geeks who lost that day would be gloating & bragging today if the results had gone in their favour, for stopping The Invincible Milan from claiming the Super Cup. ;)

I didn't bother looking into the complexities of the draw but today during the Juve-Bologna HT break they mentioned that Liverpool or United drawing an Italian team is 3/5 for each of them as both Pool and United can draw 5 teams out of which 3 of those will be Milan, Juventus and Inter!

Hence, the likelihood of one of the Italian sides drawing United or Liverpool is a certainty and it could very well be United and Liverpool playing against Serie A sides when the draw is made next Friday!

That's great Haroon. Then we will se the end of the "EPL-ruling" of CL this year.
Personally I would prefer ONLY ONE Italia-England tie in the round of 16. Later on the match-ups will be better IMO. For now only one tie would be my preference.
