It's been one week since Prezhas won the election. It appears as though he will keep his promise of bringing in Figo on 7/24. He has sent a swift and mighty blow to Barca and has them on the verge of tears. He has made us a stronger team while weaking our rival.
He has sold Anelka and has reclaim most of the money spent and remove a cancer from the team.
There are rumors of the Liverpool striker which will not come to pass but he is out in the market looking for a world class striker to add to our stable of stars.
He seems very asute in business and if the first week is any indication than Real Madrid is in good hands.

Let's hope he'll bring us out of debt ASAP. I really hate UEFA group us under the category of debt laidden club. I think I read on their website (http://www.uefa.com/) sometimes ago that they're considering banning those clubs with debts in euro competitions. However what gave me the reflief is that they will consider case by case and I think they don't want to lose a big participant like us.

I hope Real Madrid wins the liga. I'm getting kinda starved for this title :( it's been to long without this title.
Maybe Perez has something up his sleeve to deal with the debt issue.

UEFA wouldn't DARE ban us. They know how much of a big draw Real Madrid is to their competitions.

I agree with furia, UEFA would never ban us. But to get out of debt should be a priority anyway.

If he can't handle the debt, then I don't know who can. Voted the best Spanish Manager for 1999, he should know all about financial management. Let's see if the implementation is as good as his credentials.

You can't see him handling the debt during times of transfers though. He's the Real Madrid president and what's expected of him by the socios and all the fans around the world is to make the team stronger on any available occasion. And it's not the transfers that created the debt in the first place. It's bad management. So, let's see what he does throughout the year.
