A lot of good talent coming into the league this season. With the exception of Dominguez, RPL held onto their talent until at least summer and CSKA, Dinamo, and Zenit significantly strengthened their squads.

From what I read, Honda should be really good. Spalletti will be a big improvement for Zenit with a really good Russian striker.

I think we are heading for the best and competitive rus league ever in the top 5-6 places....

The top 5 looks very close in terms of quality, dinamo is a outsider.

Russia not being in world cup weird is a good thing for the league.
the rus players wil look more fit when the second half of the season starts in july.

The problem will be the rest of the 9,10 clubs who might only fight for avoid relegation and make number.

Of course some players will leave in the summer, krasic for sure, maybe wellinton or alex, akinfeev?

but i think this clubs will hire good replacements.

Good news.

Moskva was always a plastic and moscow have already enough teams, four plus topedo who i hope returns someday to the top division.

Alania returns to top division who is great also.

so FK Moscow are going to play a division lower? or is it the end for them and will players leave on frees?

and yeah indeed, an artificial club looking at their attendence figures. Bit like Metallurg Donetsk -

It is the end.

Their sponsors should look to revive Torpedo Moscow and just leave them to r.i.p.

Why Alania and not Kuban? In most leagues when a team is relegated (or pulls out) the best team from those relegated at the end of the season is reprieved. Is it in the RPL regulations?

I think FC Moscow is going to stay somewhere. Their players reported to camp. They need 20 million. (Considering they sold all their stars for 20 million, they really are a broke squad.

They should go to first or second division in my opinion.

Krylya is unfortunate because they have a big population, are a RPL regular from its formation, and have decent attendance and good fanbase.

Too bad the team is a mess.

Koller went to second/third division french team over them. The players call potential new signings and tell them not to come to Krylya. Threw a game at Terek  Disaster team, which is really too bad, because it shouldn't be like that.

The guy from Rangers? Would be an awesome signing, lol, I say it all the time but its true, Rubin has one of the best free agent signing policies in all of Europe for a normal sized club.
