VIF - Sogndal :)

The numbers behind the games are what time they start, predictions should be in b4 that time.. The main reason they are there, however, is me being too lazy to remove them from where I copy and pasted the upcoming matches :)

Rosenborg - Lyn - 5-1
RBK finally got their act together in an entertaining match. Especially Christer George had a few nice incidents, like when he ran away from the defence and passed the ball to Brattbakk who could do nothing but score.

Strømsgodset - Hønefoss 3-0
A decent match that was sent on tv yesterday. Hønefoss who was supposed to be a big surprise this season, has now had two quite bad matches in a row. Of course SIF is a good team when it comes to 1st division standards, but I can't see Hønefoss being a top team, unless they improve quite a lot. Perhaps Grodås joining the club can give the club some badly needed extra confidence and experience.

Åsane - Tromsdalen 3-0 (awaiting Jinxters comments ;))

I was present at Åsane Idrettspark and I can't believe I was so stupid as to predict a Tromsdalen victory. Åsane outplayed them. I think 7-0 would be more like it then 3-0. Åsane missed half a dozen great chance and a penalty. Tromsdalen had nothing to contribute with. If Åsane played well, the spectators did not behave good. Even if only 367 specssaw the game, it was happening on the stands. Cheerleaders did what they could to distract the other specs from the game. Including an insane person with what do you call it, a megaphone. Singing ridiculous songs on his own, ridiculing himself and the team.

I was very surprised when the magazine Avspark(Kickoff) whom I usually trust a lot, predicted Tromsdalen to get a great season, and even threaten the top teams in the division. Although it is very early yet, I think the start of the season shows that they won't be a top team at all, rather be a team that will have to fight to survive in the division.

From what I saw today, defineatly. It is not easy to meet Åsane on home ground even if they have just been promoted. They (Åsane) will get problems versus Strømsgodset, Ham-Kam, Tromsø and Hønefoss (they have already met them). The rest will get a hard time to win. I don't know about Aalesund and Haugsund. Tromsdalen had one big chance today. A heading 50 cm outside the post, but at that time Åsane were in front 3-0. Apart from that they lost the ball on all areas on the ground, they didn't find out about Åsane's defence and they were time afte time being counter attacked. Tromsdalen will have to fight from being relegated, I think.
