Explained here

To make it short: Russian footballer Simutenkov demanded to be considered as an EU player for his Spanish team Tenefire. The Spanish FA refused and the footballer went to the European court of justice. The court heard and decided that since Russia cooperates with the EU, Igor should have the same rights as any other EU player. And since Russia and Israel are in the same boat here, the meaning is Israeli footballers will no longer be considered as non-EU's in Europe. We're expected to see many players going abroad next season I guess, this will weaken our league even more but who cares it's dead anyway. This will give the NT a huge boost. :)
