Rednapp has expressed intrest in signing Franny Jeffers yet he believes Arsenal will not let him go. Portsouth are in short supply of forwards and believe Franny will help the club. Yet what will they be willing to pay Arsenal for his services. Im sure not even half what they paid Everton for him. So it will be more likely the Forward will be returning to Highbury at the end of the season.

Arsenal had hoped that by letting the young striker return to Goodison he would find the form he once had. Though this has not happened. Jeffers has made thirteen appearences for the Blues and has yet to find form and the Back of the Net.

Jeffers to Portsmouth

Your Probably right Kop but I wouldnt close the book on him just yet. I think a move Portsmouth may be good for him. Look at what he hs been through. Leaves Everton on top of the world. Goes to Arsenal picks Splinters from his arse from sitting on the bench, comes back to Goodison with tail between his legs to be a back up Rads and Rooney. His Confidence has to be shattered. Maybe going to a team that needs him may do him a world of Good.

On the other hand he may have been a flash in the pan.

There's no doubt he went to Arsenal far too soon, with the lack of first team action had a severe effect on his confidence (wouldn't be surprised if it was the frustration of lack of first team action that led to him getting sent off often).
He just aint a squad rotation player & needs to be playing constantly.
