I noticed that Pony has become a naturalized player recently. I wonder if he is eligible to play for Mexican national team ? I hope so, because I believe that he'd be a tremendous asset for El Tri. (Combines well with Jared and is always highly ranked in the assists table)

Rodrigo Ruiz "el Pony" CANNOT play for México because he has played before for the chilean NT.

According with FIFA rules any player who previously has participated on any official match representing certain nation is ineligible to play for any other country.
The best example is Navarro Montoya, the columbian-argentine goalkeeper who never could be called GK for the argentine team cause in his youth he played one official match for his "fatherland" Columbia.

Tucides is correct .... too bad 'cause when he played for Chile he didnt make a bit of difference....which MAYBE...now could have been of benefit for the TRI !!! ;)
