PRAGUE, May 14 (AFP)

Lazio's Czech international Karel Poborksy is set to sign for Sparta Prague later this week it was reported here Tuesday.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder, who has previously played for Manchester United and Benfica, will be formally unveiled at a Sparta Prague press conference on Wednesday.
Poborsky, a key figure in the Czech Republic's successful 1996 European Championship team, decided to return to his homeland after weighing up offers prolong his career overseas.
"I had three interesting offers from Germany but I want to finish my career in my own country," Poborksy said.
Sparta are meanwhile chasing two other members of the Czech Republic's Euro 96 squad, left-sided midfielder Jiri Nemec, currently with Schalke 04 in Germany, and stopper Petr Kouba, now with FK Jablonec.
