Our vital match in hand and another must win Premiership game. This match takes place on Wednesday. We've picked up recently and have had three wins on the bounce, both teams have advanced to the quater-finals of the FA Cup this weekend. Its definately not going to be an easy match. Charlton's form is differing at the moment, but on their day they can produce some great football, but if we want to make anything of this season we simply have to ensure we pick up the three points. I didn't think we played particularly well against Southampton so no doubt we'll have to up our game and be a lot more alert defensively, especially with the Bent duo lurking about.

Team news is that Owen, Carr and Taylor are all still out through injury. Craig Moore is not yet match fit and is unlikely to feature in the squad. Babayaro serves the final game of his ban. Shearer is a doubt with the calf injury that kept him out of the match with Southampton on Saturday.

Possible line up:

------------------------Given-----------------------

Ramage---------Bramble------Boumsong--------Elliott

Solano----------Parker---------Emre----------N'Zogbia

----------------Ameobi--------Dyer------------------

Here's the squad for the match: Given, Harper, Ramage, Elliott, Boumsong, Bramble, Faye, Clark, Emre, Bowyer, Brittain, N'Zogbia, Pattison, Dyer, Parker, Solano, Chopra, Ameobi, Shearer, Luque.

Apparantly Shearer and Dyer will undergo late fitness tests.

According to the Chron, Shearer is definately out while Dyer is struggling. Looks like we could see a front pairing of Ameobi-Luque.

Odd team selection from Roeder, he's ignored Luque again, and is instead playing Bowyer in what looks to be a 5 man midfield. Confirmed line up:

-----------------------Given--------------------
Ramage------Bramble--------Boumsong------Elliott
Solano-------Parker----------Bowyer-------N'Zogbia
----------------------Emre----------------------
---------------------Ameobi---------------------

Well not only was it a bad match 0-0, but we've lost two key players through injury. Dyer and Bramble are expected to be out for 3 weeks at the minimum each :depress: Its such a shame as both were just coming into form aswell.
