Probably a very bad time to play Boro, they had a great result in mid week, granted it was against a poor side, but they still turned around a very difficult situation. They'll be full of confidence going into this one. We had a decent result against Spurs last week, but we still looked shakey at the back. As I said last week, we really don't have anything to play for this season, but a win over Boro would be sweet.

Team news is that Owen, Taylor, Babayaro, Luque and Parker all miss the match through injury. Bramble and Dyer have both returned to the squad after missing out last week. Apparantly Roeder may decide to give Peter Ramage a rest and start Bramble.

The squad: Given, Harper, Carr, Ramage, Moore, Bramble, Boumsong, Elliott, Solano, Bowyer, Emre, N’Zogbia, Dyer, Clark, Faye, Brittain, O’Brien, Shearer, Ameobi, Chopra.

Possibile line up: Given; Carr, Bramble, Moore, Elliott; Solano, Bowyer, Emre, N'Zogbia; Shearer, Ameobi.

Very nice win, we may not have much to play for this season, but it always feels sweet getting one over on the Smogs. Ameobi actually seems to have found some form, lets hope we can continue this winning for the final few matches.

3 points. Bolton have a game in hand, mind. I'm not sure what a potential Boro UEFA Cup win would do to it.

Actually, that would do nothing. Seeing as Boro currently do not occupy a UEFA Cup spot.
