After trying desperately to hand Filippo Inzaghi out to any team between the Arctic Circle and the Equator, Juventus have finally reached an agreement with Lazio for the transfer of Pippo to the Champions of Italy.

Juventus' director Luciano Moggi stated: "There are no words to describe our feelings towards Pippo, especially for what he's done in the last matches of this season. With all our heart, we strongly hope that he will do the same at Lazio".

The player reacted happyly to the move and said: "I have always dreamt of joining my brother at Lazio, they are by far my favourite team, and I showed all my love for this club in the match between Perugia and Juventus".

Also Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti hasn't missed the chance to say some words about Lazio new buy: "I think Inzaghi will be a useful player, against Perugia he showed how good he is at shooting over the crossbar, our rugby team just need that kind of free-kicker".
