Piacenza is the club that spent the most on players, the signed all the players neccesary to strengten the team.

They signed:

They also sold some players:

Also the have a new coach: Novellino
he guided Napoli to Serie A last season!

Seems like they are going to get back very quick!

Yes, it does look like it. Though Serie B is always a very uncertain and difficult league just like the English First Division. Piacenza, Venezia, Torino and Cagliari were all relegated, but they are keen to get back up. But Sampdoria, Genoa and Treviso are also keen on getting up. Should be interesting.

It should be very interesting in the serieB this season.I think Piacenza and Venezia are among the teams that are favorites to move into the SerieA>
Venezia also has gone crazy signing players to strengthen their club:
Piacenza:
(4-4-2): Roma, Polonia, Boselli, Delli Carri, Lucarelli, Gautieri, Cristallini, Statuto, Tramezzani, Palmieri, Caccia.

Venezia:
Brivio, Bilica, Dal Canto, Luppi, Conteh, Sotgia, Marasco, Pedone, De Franceschi, Maniero, Di Napoli.

Genoa Sampdoria Napoli Torino should all be up there with the big seven........Udinese and Bologna....tthen Serie A will start to look even better and by far more difficult.

Don't put Serie B down, there are a lot of good teams with good players playing in Serie B. And the wages aren't to bad to, but ofcourse the big name players would play in the top division, if they aren't offered more money by a Serie B club that is.

Ps, have you forgot that Batigol spent a whole season in Serie B

I hope Sampdoria get back into the Seria A, they are a Serie A team, more so than Venezia. I would really love Pisa back in the Serie A, but that will never happen for ages.

True, there are quality teams in Serie B just as there are quality teams in lower divisions elsewhere.

Venezia look very good and it won't be a surprise if they came back up. IL TORO, if Pisa can win promotion to Serie B next season then it won't be impossible for them to reach Serie A.

Interesting how some clubs can rise so quickly, and others can fall from grace so quickly too.

That is just the thing/ Votoupal it is amazing I think in the SerieB there is much more of the want to reach the top 4 clubs to enter the SerieA.Therefore the quality of CLubs are highly recognized!!

Yepp there are alot of qualaty teams and players in Serie B/C, players like Protti(!) play in serie B.

I hope Genoa will come back, Piacenza also ofcource, Sampdoria and Torino.

But Venezia and Cagliari are also pushing, just as Salernitana.

why do you all like piacenza,its a team without profiles ans foreigners,im italian so i know mostly of the piacenza players very good,but how can you guys be interested of a team like them,ok the will dominate in serie b but when they get back to serie A they will be relegated once again.
WHY DO THEY HAVE ONLY ITALIAN PLAYERS?
1 racist president
2 easier for the coach
3 poor team

i think they are a boring team and i hope they wont get back
in serie A.
