:sigh:

Pennant will be slopping out and eating Porridge for his breakfast tomorrow morning as he was today jailed for three months for drink driving while disqualified.

let's hope this is the turning point and kick up the arse he needs, he doesn't have a future with the Arsenal but let's hope he doesn't throw away his career, he has all the talent to be an International player and play at a top club.

I dont' think he'll serve his sentence... He'll end up paying a fine and doing some social work.
he's got no chance of appeal, he was 2.5 times over the limit and was already serving a ban, he deserved to get longer if you ask me, he will have to just get his head down and do his bird and hopefully come out a stronger man.

Very glad to hear he was sent to jail. He has been drink driving before but he obviously couldn't stop doing so, this way he will hopefully learn a lesson but as soon as he gets out he will need pro-help.

This certainly won't help his footballing career. One thing is for sure, Wenger won't be returning him back to Arsenal...
I just wish he doesn't fvck up his whole life...

Good to see him jailed! About time these footballers realised that just because they are paid exagerrated wages and have talent with a ball doesn't mean they are above the law. I'd like to think this along with Lee Hughes' crime serve to wake the over indulged footballing community up - but fear that I'll be proved wrong.

Its a shame to see him in jail IMO, his life was finally going the right way in Birmingham, and now suddenly this happens.

Getting sent to prison is an Arsenal tradition:

PETER STOREY: Arsenal star of the 1970s was sentenced to 28 days for attempting to import pornography in 1990.

TONY ADAMS: Ex-England and Arsenal captain served two months of a four-month sentence for drink-driving offences in 1990.

JERMAINE PENNANT: jailed for three months for drink-driving.
