You were not the only one that wanted RQ, many of the hardcore fans here, wanted him.
Actually many of the hardcore fans on here wanted JM also.
Every time you make a transfer, and spend big money, it is expected that it quickly produce dividends. However we've learned from our history, and the history of other clubs, that that isn't always the case.
The best way is too seek out young talent or scout leagues where you can find gems before they become expensive, like Maicon or Cesar or even the young crybaby we have up front.
However for anyone on here to think that Inter should buy this player or that, he'll help us or he'll produce is somewhat foolish.
Transfers are hit and miss. Sometimes you spend big, and get a Zlatan.
Sometimes you spend big, and get a dud like RQ.
Sometime you spend little and get a Wome....but then you could get a Maicon...in other words it all evens out in the end.
The mistake wasn't the player, but the position the player plays. Having said this, JM wanted to try a different formation. I give him the benefit of the doubt until the end of the season.
BTW, its not unheard of player changing it around. Don't give up hope yet.
Just to add, this is why I'm a huge advocate of looking in your league first, before looking abroad. Yes its cheaper to do so, but players will know the league and the lifestyle.
