Pele for Quaresma? Is it Worth it?

Simple, is it worth losing Pele to secure Quaresma?

Poll please, curious to see what everyone thinks.

I'm personally sick of this whole Quaresma fiasco and as much I wanted Quaresma to join, I'm not very keen on losing Pele.

Pele is going to be world class, I'm sure of it.

Rarely have a seen such composure from a central midfielder of Pele's age. He integrated into the top club in Serie A seamlessly and never looked out of place. Young super-talented center/defensive mid's with the composure of Pele are a lot tougher to find then talented attacking players such as Quaresma.

Sure, Quaresma is also special, however there are many other attacking players out there Inter could have signed while keeping Pele as well. I would have rather bought Menez for 12-14m like Roma did or broken the bank for Arshivan, Diego etc then lose Pele for Quaresma.

This going to come back to haunt Inter. It's going to be another Pirlo, Seedorf, Bergkamp, Roberto Carlos type transfer and all of us going to be sick to our stomach when PdC sells Pele for 20m+ in few years time.

For once, Inter's scouts find a young talented player at an obscure club, buy him for peanuts, he turns out good and what to we do......SELL HIM!?!

Have we become a club that needs to sell their top young talents in order to raise transfer funds?

Not worth it IMO

From Mourinhos words also, i'm preety sure we'll target Hamsik next summer, so thats more then enough.

....ok i cant let this one slide....Its a huge fact that everyone must F**kin know. i never said Materazzi was signed instead of Nesta...jesus christ. i said something very specific. if we had signed Nesta we would not have signed Materazzi. Thats a plain as day fact pulsy....

And no where...and i mean nowhere have i said that we signed materazzi because we needed to find a replacement for the original target nesta.

Zus christ man....ha....i am sure i even had this duscission with you yrself years and years ago. And i am sure i remember you sayin Materazzi is more of a symbol for INTER now than Nesta ever will b for Milan.

But we were trying to sign Nesta in the summer of 2002 were we not? At that time Materazzi was already at Inter. So I fail to see how the signing of Nesta would prevent the signing of Materazzi...

Most people assumed that Nesta would partner Materazzi in central defense if I'm not mistaken. Or be part of a three man defense.

I never said anything abt the year he went to Milan. I am talking abt two years before that before we even signed cannavaro....ok i see y u people r mixin it up and thinkin i'm talkin horse ish....i am talkin abt even before we reserved the 13 for Nesta and it ended up on Canna. Anyway dont worry cos if u think that year Canna came instead of Nesta was the first time we could have signed Nesta this argument is pointless. That year is the closest we ever came to signing him true but thats not the year i'm talkin abt

actually that conversation with u pulsy now i think abt it was to do with who is more valuable to their team now that both r established in their new clubs a couple years back. u remember this discussion???

and carson no one is doubting that nesta izza better defender and footballer

i'm just sayin Materazzi i am sure is preferred by not only me as an INTER symbol.

now, back to this topic...i was the one who did not object this move..but certainly, this transfer did not turn out to be as good as we expected...i guess pele wouldn't have been a downgrade compared to muntari...

i think we are suffering from the loss of pele (not really a big loss but muntari isn't better than him)...plus, Q...sigh...really disappointed...

Pele at Porto has been way worse than Q at Inter.

For one, Q has actually played some matches and done okay in some of them and actually attends training.

but from what i've seen, pele has the talent to be a great DM...he just needs more time, as he is still young...i wonder if we would bring him back in the near future....perhaps not..

I don't think he appreciates how he was handled, so he might not come back.

But maybe Inter can promise him more Italian GFs.

No body gives a crap about Pele, he has limited talent anyways. It was good we got rid of him.

Its the 18m€ we threw out the window when buying the overrated winger that hurts, not the loss of an average talent like Pele.
